Radio News Assessment: Live News Bulletin

Radio Live News Bulletin

On the 26th February, Alex, Bronte and I were sent down to the radio studio to watch and take part in the live radio news bulletins, which are broadcast on the hour by students from WINOL news. Each of us wrote our own stories and read out a live radio bulletin including our own stories and those from other members of the group. We were at the studio from 8.30am till 2pm and it was a very valuable experience in learning how radio works. I read out the news bulletin live at 12pm and 1pm.

Here is the Live News Bulletin that I read out and that was broadcast at 1pm:

Audio: “Live News Bulletin”
In: “Good afternoon this is WINOL news at one o’clock I’m Bracken Stockley…”
Out: ”That’s all for now but we’ll be back with more news at two.”
Duration: 1.52 minutes / 112 seconds
