WINOL: Absolute:ly Magazine Week 9

Monday 18th November:

MODERNISM AND EXISTENTIALISM

Our main project for this term was our 1920s and 1960s themed shoot. Drawing our influence from iconic characters from The Great Gatsby for Modernism and Malcolm X and Audrey Hepburn for Existentialism we aimed to created a dramatic and highly sophisiticated photoshoot.

Tuesday 19th November:

One of my main roles in our Modernism and Existentialism shoot was to find two males models and their clothing for both styles. I got in touch with models Bright Cross and Timo Axmacher who both kindly agreed to take part in the shoot without pay and supply the clothes for both styles which was brilliant as our previous suppliers had fallen through only a couple days before. Here is an example of the Gatsby look that we were going for with flapper dresses for the girls and white trousers, smart shoes and shirts for the boys.
